We created this tool to route cables in our ADS Cloud Server Rack. When you don’t have side rack access, routing cables in the rack from front to back or back to front is frustrating. The cable flops around, and it requires several attempts to get the cable pushed through the rack. With this tool, you attach the end of the cable with the clip, extend the telescoping handle, and push the cable through the rack in seconds on the first try. The LED light makes it easy to route the cable in dark areas. The LED light makes it easy to find the cable on the other side of the rack. The tool has other uses: routing cables through a desk grommet, an extension hand for social distancing, and automotive applications like fishing cables in a tight engine compartment. The collapsed length is 9 ½”, and the fully extended length is 40 ¼”. It fits in most laptop cases to use anytime you need it.
